Helping a major bank understand new technology
We recently worked with a major name in British High Street banking to help their senior marketing team understand the impact of advances in digital technology in recent years. From planning best practice digital marketing to utilising new ways to reach consumers and the leverage of social media, we worked with the business unit’s leadership team to educate, engage and plan strategically for the year ahead. We love this type of project because it gets us close to the business' leadership and its very real and current opportunities.
Inventing a new mobile revenue stream for a retailer
One of our favourite areas to work in is mobile and app strategy and development. Instead of simply responding to given briefs, we will regularly invent / engineer a concept internally and then approach a potential client with view to producing it on their behalf or in partnership as a joint venture. We've recently done just this for a fashion retailer. Our innovative iPhone app helps them address three logistical and operational issues, while building a completely new revenue stream, leveraging their existing impressive data and analytics pool.
Launching a company-wide operations website for a food brand
One of our smallest clients - but possibly one of the most complex projects we've worked on - we helped this independent fine foods retailer organise all of its sales, ordering, invoicing information / knowledge sharing and CRM processes in to one bespokely engineered space. Based on existing, supported and stable technologies (some of them open source), we created a custom designed space to fit existing and future business needs. This type of project - combining business and technology consulting - is always guaranteed to excite us.
Helping clients understand consumers better than ever before
We're a proactive consultancy - and don't just wait for a client brief to innovate. When we realised how hard our clients find it to plan marketing and engagement within the high net worth segment, we decided to do something about it. We created the CoSkill HNW Panel - formed of 200 HNW individuals - to better understand, and test, interaction with this hard to reach, high-earning (£250k+ income) and high-value (£2m+ worth) audience group. From focus groups to panel surveys, we can test strategy at a level our competitors struggle to reach - creating a valuable insight tool that our clients value.
Creating a brand hierarchy for an American publishing group
This project - for one of our largest recent clients - was complex to say the least. Our brief was to clearly articulate and organise the group’s twenty plus brands and operating units in to smaller, more concise, consumer friendly groups. Working creatively and commercially to reach the end users (readers) with new technologies, our process drove new thinking internally on integration and the power of centralised / shared content. We love this kind of project because it takes us right up close to both the brand and business leadership.
Creating an innovation space for a telecoms giant
A global telecom giant approached us to co-create a brand new incubation space, designed to encourage a dedicated innovation and growth track for two of its senior executives - both boasting a career track record of successful product launches. The time had come for each to try something new and our structure - formed and supported by CoSkill consultants - enabled just that, while keeping both individuals within the company. This type of project interests us because it combines our entrepreneurial and consultative worlds.
