![]() We believe that good business practices make for great businesses. How we manage our people, suppliers, clients, processes, travel, operations and profitability all have a wider direct impact. We believe in ensuring that every aspect of this impact is positive for every CoSkill stakeholder, not just shareholder.
Every aspect of how we operate at CoSkill is designed with our wider impact in mind... From how we source products and services to the way we manage our internal and daily operations, we believe in thinking first. For example, our green beliefs lead us to work entirely paper free - scanning every document, emailing instead of posting and recycling at every opportunity. Our passion for people drive us to fight against the trend for unpaid internships - apart from deterring the best quality talent, we don’t think asking anyone to work for free is fair. And our business ethics promote fair practice by procuring and tendering in a responsible and transparent way - we’ll never ask a new / potential supplier to work for free or compete against an unfair number of competitors.
![]() We believe in delivering tangible value - which drives us to charge fairly and work smartly...
We’re creating a new category of professional advisor - the next generation strategic consultancy - and our beliefs around how we charge for our expertise form part of this task. Our ability to combine three core consulting areas - business, consumer and technology - drives a natural saving, replacing up to three separate professional fees. But, more than that, our agile operation, lack of corporate layering and operational efficiency means your budget is spent on your project, not our wastage.
![]() We believe in the perfect balance of generalist and specialist knowledge and skills.
The beauty of our offer is our relevance. Every single CoSkill consultant has broad business, leadership and consulting skills - gained, honed and proven in a commercial environment. But, we’re also extremely proud of our depth of knowledge. All of our people understand their subject areas inside out and are best placed to challenge convention, creating new opportunity. Because our business model was built in collaboration with clients, we’re regularly told that the way we work is more client friendly than any of our competitors have ever been or are ever likely to be in the near future...
![]() We believe that your relationship with your consultant should be fun, inspiring and enjoyable.
You’ll likely spend more than 40 years working. Whether you love your job or not, that’s unquestionably a long time to do anything. Which is exactly why we believe that life is far too short to spend it working with people who don’t inspire you, excite you, guide you through change, encourage you to be outstanding and help you achieve things you never thought you could. Our job is to do just that. ![]() We have a very different way of working to most of our competitors - which means that not everyone fits naturally in to our company. So ‘who’ is CoSkill? What does our DNA look like?
If CoSkill was a person, he would start the morning reading Tweets on his iPhone. Maybe some exercise next (or a bar of chocolate, it doesn‘t matter!), listening to a Spotify playlist, thinking about the day ahead. That day likely includes several moments of inspiration for his colleagues. She’ll have client meetings where the challenge of ‘solving the impossible’ provides as much adrenaline as the morning commute... Lunch time brings a great opportunity to catch up on the latest technology, business or just ‘real life’ news. The ‘apostrophe abuse’ on the menu in the local sandwich shop drives her mad. And he definitely takes note of the consumer experience while logging in to online banking before heading back to work. The afternoon flies by, interrupted only by the chance to debate a client solution with his team. When the business day ends, personal life is a focus - embracing a great work / life balance. That 3am ‘spark of genius’ happens occasionally but her BlackBerry was surely invented for late night emails to herself!? Over all, his creativity and commercialism are equally natural - and the passion for business, consumer and technology runs through everything she does. All of which is, obviously, organised almost obsessively! Sound amazing? Contact us about your project or career opportunities. Hate what you see? That’s fine, honest.
